Lucky Bansko Aparthotel, Bansko ****

The Lucky Bansko is one of our most highly recommended hotels in Bansko. When you’re not eating there are also some really excellent facilities on offer during your ski holiday. A superb swimming pool (piping hot we’re told!), sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi – all free to use for guests. The Spa treatments are also very reasonably priced. For the more technically minded there is Wi-fi throughout the hotel and also computer terminals available. For the very young there is a creche facility and free childcare available whilst the grown-ups are out skiing.

The rooms are a decent size and are well-equipped with air-condition, towel radiators, bath robes, slippers, and l’occataine toiletries.  Each room is cleaned daily along with a turndown service. There are a few English TV channels in the rooms and the main lounge including Sky Sports. The restaurant also has an excellent reputation throughout Bansko – a typical breakfast consists of juices, cheeses, cold meats, breads, yoghurts, cereals, fruit, ham, bacon, sausages – a great variety of hot and cold food which is a great way to start the day. Evening meals too are probably the best in the Bansko.

A shuttle bus which runs every half hour and is very punctual so don’t be late! The journey time is only 5 minutes so it’s walkable if you prefer.
